The meaning behind YouBloomCounseling is essentially related to blooming like a flower, a tree, or even weeds. It is about Blooming from the ground and up in all kinds of seasons and soil. YouBoomCounseing is focused on allowing people like you to show up as you. Without apologizing for how you have survived and what you had to do in order to move forward with your life. It is about allowing yourself to take up space, to exist, and to just be you. To bloom, and refuse to die even with the coldest conditions. And you know why? Because you are worthy and you are allowed to bloom and be vibrant with every other living thing on this planet. You are not insignificant, and you are not small. You are amazing, and beautiful, and have a beautiful heart.
I know life can get all weird and sometimes discouraging. But, we are not what happened to us or what we have done. We are more than that, and I believe so strongly that in therapy with YouBloomCounseling you will come to see this with time. YouBloomCounseling is about allowing yourself to be watered, cared for, given sunlight, soil to heal, and the right amount of attention to continue blooming. If this aligns with your journey, I encourage you to be a part of the YouBloom family.

Hello and welcome to YouBloomCounseling! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to get to know a little bit about me and my practice. My name is Jennifer but most people call me Jenny, which is totally fine by me. In fact, I prefer to be called Jenny. I live in Middleton, Wisconsin with my husband and our fur babies. Alpha who is a Pitbull Terrier, but is the sweetest and most loving dog you will probably ever meet. He has no boundaries when it comes to love and getting attention. Then, there is Sofia, a black magical cat. She has a mind of her own, so I can’t really speak for her, but she is also very sweet and loving when she wants to be.
I am more than just a psychotherapist. When I am not providing therapy and in my role. I enjoy being outdoors, reading…like a lot! Like everyday! I love reading dark romance and psychological thrillers. I know…it probably does not come as a surprise. What can I say, I have a little bit of darkness in me and a need for some chaos, even if it means through fiction and that is okay. I also enjoy writing very much, and have published two books as an indie writer. One is a romance novel, more like hallmark, and the second one is a psychological thriller. As you may notice by now, I am a pretty open-minded person and always looking to connect. Aside, from all that, I am just another human being trying to figure it out in this sometimes odd, but beautiful world.
